We are Britain's national contemporary dance company, founded by Marie Rambert in 1926. We tour large scale works of dance with live music, bringing high quality productions to audiences of all ages. Our aim is to the biggest, the best and the most exciting contemporary dance company in the UK.

Situation
Dance is tremendously popular, it is the second most popular form of physical activity after football for young people. We want to increase the number of people who are able to enjoy contemporary dance as audience members and participants.
Solution
We are doing this by developing large scale engagement programmes in our new home, giving opportunities for people of all ages to take part, to learn more about contemporary dance and to give access to the creative process. These include adults, children and older people including, for example, those with Parkinson’s and Dementia.
