Thames Hospicecare understand the challenges people face when living with a life limiting illness. One of the daily group activities offered at THc Ascot is the Breathlessness and Fatigue Management Group. These groups are for people who experience breathlessness or fatigue symptoms or both as part of their daily life.

The team at Ascot are able to teach people simple breathing control exercises and some basic behavioural strategies to help manage their breathlessness and conserve energy. People and their carers find it very helpful to meet others going through similar challenges and to gain support from talking to them and sharing experiences within a safe and informed environment where additional information is available.
