    Situation

One third of all health issues for women between the ages of 15 and 44 worldwide relate to their sexual and reproductive health. Unprotected sex, HIV & other STIs, sexual coercion, & sexual gender based violence are all contributing factors. Many people do not have access to clear & relevant information about relationships and sexual health from credible sources. Women are entitled to education that will empower them & contribute towards reducing their risks & improving their health & wellbeing.

    Solution

We will train, equip & resource educators to deliver culturally relevant relationships & sex education (RSE). In partnership with local schools, churches, medical facilities, & other organisations, educators will support women to deepen their knowledge & understanding of relationships & sexual health. This will include engaging them to think critically & empowering them to make informed & considered decisions, and supporting pregnant women with HIV to avoid mother to child transmission.
