    Situation

Young cerebral palsy athletes hoping to represent Team CP England at the 2015 CPISRA World Games will be asked to raise their own funds to participate in the Games. As people with disabilities can find themselves socially excluded and economically disadvantaged, this project will help to remove financial barriers so young people can focus on representing their country and perform to the best of their ability.

    Solution

Sport brings people together on an equal basis to enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits of participating in sport. Team CP England will help young cerebral palsy athletes and their families to overcome any financial hardship they may face in the build-up and during the CPISRA 2015 World Games. The fund will support athletes with the costs of training, travel, accommodation and subsistence.
