    Situation

People without a disability are free to choose whether or not to play sport; individuals with cerebral palsy do not have the same choice. You might expect local authorities to provide these opportunities however people with cerebral palsy are often overlooked because these organisations do not have the skills, resources or capacity to deliver. “I struggled to find my son suitable regular football sessions where we were living. I didn't know where to go or what to do." (Cerebral Palsy parent)

    Solution

The National Table Cricket Community League will solve this problem in the following ways: 1) The equipment and the laws of the game have been specially adapted so table cricket can be played and enjoyed by people with mild, moderate and severe physical disabilities. 2) The League will open up new ways for people with physical disabilities to enjoy playing sport. 3) The money raised through 'The Big Give Challenge 2013" will be used to pay for table cricket equipment and coaching.
